The scientific journal, Contemporary Research in Sports Management is published by Bu-Ali Sina University since 2011. This journal is an open access and peer-reviewed quarterly journal. In 2025, this scientific journal has received a B rank in the evaluation of the Scientific Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT). Also, according to the latest assessment of the Islamic World Science Citation (ISC) database, this journal has obtained an impact factor of 0.096 and a ranking of Q3.

Respecting the rules of ethics in publications, this journal is subject to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive regulations of the law on preventing fraud in scientific works. 

Contemporary Research in Sports Management journal by Bu-Ali Sina University Press is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

Following the regulations of the scientific publications of the MSRT to protect the rights and intellectual property of researchers and prevent the publication of duplicate articles, Contemporary Research in Sports Management Controls all articles are checked with Hamyab plagiarism finder software to confirm their authenticity and then are carefully evaluated by reliable and experienced judges.

Contemporary Research in Sports Management journal cooperates with the Iranian Scientific Association of Sport Management since 2020.
