Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of morning sport on educational improvement of female students. The statistical population of the research was total boarding guidance schools of Sabzevar each containing 100 students in academic year 2010-2011. One school was cluster randomly selected and 90 students were voluntarily chosen as research samples. After they were organized based on their height, weight, age and pre-test of history, dictation, English language, mathematics and science courses, the samples were randomly divided into two 45 people experiential and witness groups. For eight weeks, the experiential group exercised every morning before arrival in the class while the witness group did not exercise in the morning during that period. The two groups were retested for those courses after eight weeks. Descriptive and inferential statistics such as Hotel ling's T2 test, ANOVA, LSD post hoc test and SPSS software were used for analyzing tests results. The findings showed that there were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test scores of experiential groups in each five courses and the mean scores of this group were higher than the witness one. The differences of the means were meaningful statistically. As a whole, it can be concluded that morning sport has significant influence on the educational improvement of female students.
