Abstract

The aim of this study was to explain the communication model of conflict management styles with satisfaction and success of athletes in Iranian national teams for the deaf. The statistical population of the study consisted of 220 athletes of all national teams of Iranian national deaf teams and the statistical sample consisted of 150 athletes sent to foreign competitions. In this study, Robbins (1998) Conflict Management Questionnaires of Rimrochladoray Athletes (1998) and the success of Mousavi and Vaez Hamousavi (2015) athletes were used. Friedman test was used to analyze the data and prioritize the dominant style of conflict management, and Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation modeling were used to determine the relationship and effectiveness of the variables. Software (SPSS and Smart PLS) were also used to perform calculations and model design. The results showed that coaches use non-confrontational style to manage conflicts more. Among the dimensions of athletes' satisfaction, the dimension of satisfaction with individual performance and among the dimensions of success, the dimension of commitment had the highest average. Also, while observing the relationship between conflict management styles with athlete satisfaction, between solution strategy and non-confrontation with satisfaction There was a significant relationship between athletes and solution orientation strategies with athletes' success. According to the research results, when the coaches of the national teams for the deaf use solution-oriented strategies, they are more successful in managing conflicts and creating satisfaction and achieving the success of athletes.
