The study of Relationship between organizational commitment and job burnout of Physical Education teachers of the East Azarbaijan Provience

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to survey the Relationship between organizational commitment and  job burnout of Physical Education  teachers of the east Azarbaijan. The research is descriptive and correlation study. Phisical teachers in East Azarbaijan Provience (N=270) were selected the  samples of this study. two questionnaires of this study were standard. Pearson  correlation , independent-sample T Test,One-way Anowa and Tukey tests were used. The results showed that there was a significant Relationship between organizational commitment and job Burnout. Also there were a negative significant (p<0.01) Relationship between, affective commitment and Normative commitment with job burnout.but there wasn,t a significant relationship (p<0.01) between, continuance commitment and job Burnout variable . In addition, the difference of some individual characteristics with organizational commitment and job burnout were studied.Only The difference of organizational commitment with salary was significant. Also there were significant  differences in salary, job experience, recruitment, educational certify and marital with  job burnout. Therefore, the educational managers are advised to increase affective and normative and organizational commitment to decrease the job burnout.
