Path analysis of weightlifting development pattern in Asia

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the development pattern of weightlifting in Asia. According to the purpose of the present study, this research was a quantitative research and applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of all Asian weightlifting experts included the presidents of Asian national federations, former Asian and world champions with the flags of Asian countries, and 120 expert weightlifting experts in Asia. The sample size was determined at least 92 people based on Morgan's table. To ensure the collection of a sufficient number of questionnaires, 115 questionnaires were distributed by simple random method, and finally, after removing distorted or incomplete questionnaires, 99 complete questionnaires were analyzed. According to the results of the management transformation in Asian weightlifting, developing a local model of talent management in Asian weightlifting, improving the position of weightlifting in the sport of the member countries of the Asian Confederation, developing training and empowering human resources, improving the economic and marketing processes of weightlifting federations, developing related sports facilities and equipment. With weightlifting, branding and development of the Asian weightlifting brand, structural development and legal environment are among the most important strategies for the development of weightlifting in Asia. Also, the results of the path analysis showed that all the obtained factor loadings are significant. Paying attention to the factors obtained in this research will make the development of weightlifting in Asia smoother.
