Modeling economic barriers to sports development in the western provinces of the country

Abstract

. The present study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature; Which is done in the field. The statistical population of the study included the staff of the Department of Sports and Youth of the western provinces of the country. The statistical sample of the research was a sufficient number for modeling structural equations in Pilates software environment with 5 to 15 people per item or question. Therefore, 327 people were selected as the sample. The sampling method was random. The research tool included a researcher-made questionnaire in two parts: descriptive characteristics and specialized questions. The final questionnaire was prepared in 55 items, using the Likert method and evaluating five options. Its face and content validity was confirmed by 14 experts and the reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha method. Findings showed 6 factors of structure and economic management of sports, sports industry and market system, human and intellectual capital of sports, financial and economic resources of sports, infrastructure and physical resources of sports, employment and sports business through two categories of barriers within Systemic and extra-systemic have an impact of 0.960 and a significance coefficient of 141.263, respectively, and an extra-systemic effect of 0.967 and a significance coefficient of 179.99 are effective on the development of sports in the western provinces of the country. Therefore, in order to reduce the obstacles, these cases should be considered.
