Abstract
The present study was designed and conducted to provide a model of the role of exercise in students' biological health. The present study is applied in terms of purpose, because the results of this study can be used for healthy biological development of individuals. The present study was a mixed research that was conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. The method of data collection in the present study was field. In the present study, the statistical population in the qualitative section included experts and professors aware of the research topic. Also in the quantitative part of the research, the statistical population included students of universities in Bushehr and Fars provinces, including public universities, Azad, Payame Noor. These students included people who were regularly involved in sports activities. These individuals were divided into several groups based on their activities in sports (public sports, educational sports, professional sports and championship sports) who collaborated with the present study according to their sections. The data collection tool in the present study was a semi-structured interview and a researcher-made questionnaire. Structural equation method was used to analyze the research data. The whole process of data analysis was performed in SPSS and PLS software. The results of the present study showed that participation in public, educational, championship and professional sports improves the status of healthy biological indicators including physical self, creative self, self-coping, self-innuend and self-community. Therefore, paying attention to the development of sports in universities can pave the way for a healthy biological improvement.
