Abstract
The aim of the present study is modeling the relationship between Good Governance and Knowledge Management with Social Responsibility in Sport Federations of Iran. The statistical population of the study consisted of employees of Sport Federations including Handball, Volleyball, Basketball, Water polo, Karate, Skiing, Archery, Cycling, Athletics, Fencing, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Weightlifting and Sailing which number has been 437. The statistical sample size determined by using Cochran's formula was 204 people and 201 complete questionnaires were returned. The sample was assessed through standard questionnaires of good governance based on Independent Commission for Good Governance in Public Services (2004) model, knowledge management based on Newman and Conrad model and social responsibility based on Carol model. The collected data were analyzed at two levels (descriptive statistics and inferential statistics). In this research, to test the research hypotheses the structural equation modeling technique based on the partial least squares approach and SPSS and Smart PLS software has been used. Findings showed that good governance has a significant relationship with social responsibility in sports federations but the relationship between knowledge management and social responsibility in sports federations has not been significant. The fit of the research model has also been confirmed.
