Designing an Information Technology Infrastructure Model from the Experts' Viewpoint in Sports Organizations

Abstract

This research was aimed at designing an IT infrastructure model from the perspective of experts in sport organizations. The present study was conducted in terms of qualitative method and in terms of information gathering with phenomenological strategy and deep interviewing. The statistical population of the study was a group familiar with the topic of sports experts (Sports Information Technology Activists, university professors, technology and infrastructure players in sports organizations). In terms of collecting information, snowball method with 15 experts' opinion was reached on theoretical saturation The findings of the deep interview with the open, focal and selective coding of the technology infrastructure model have come to the attention of the sports experts that the technology knowledge, network communication, architecture and data services, technology management, technology foundations, compatibility and technology speed are the main components This infrastructure was considered to be more reliable than encoding factors with software The MaxQDE version 12, with two familiar codecs and a % 81 agreement rate, could be used to facilitate the launch of technology in sport.
