The aim of this research is analyzing the thematic factors affecting the income generation of Iran sports delegations.This research is an exploratory research with a qualitative nature. Data collection was done using interviews and documentary review. After conducting 22 in-depth and semi-structured interviews with the research statistical population,the main categories extracted completing the coding process.The statistical population includes those familiar with income generation in Iran Ministry of Sports,the National Olympic Committee;experts and researchers in financial resources and income generation as well as university researchers in this field.Purposeful sampling continued until theoretical saturation and then were coded according to the research topic.Then,in two stages,the initial concepts were produced,first in 55 concepts and second for better coherence and analysis were coded,in 12 abstract concepts under the headings of entry of legal partners,capital measures,provision of capital funds,provision of current funds,provision of funds from the side activities of the board,provision of funds from events,from available places,from registrations;planning obstacles,governance obstacles,institutional obstacles,and hardware and software obstacles.In the next step,the 12 concepts produced in the secondary coding process,classified in the form of 3 major categories.These major categories are at a higher level of abstraction than the concepts of the previous stage and according to the results of the research;sports managers can use the concepts and categories identified in their future plans,in order to generate better income for the sports delegations of Islamic Republic of Iran.
